ITIS | Testing Rising Stem Ball Valves (RSBV)

An 18″ FB-class 1500 rising stem ball valve after high-pressure testing in accordance with the customer’s specifications. Large and heavy valves require various lifting and handling equipment, including a forklift and a crane. For large valves we have built an additional bunker: 5x5x5 metres to be able to test such valves in perfectly safe surroundings.

Different types of valve tests, including cryogenic tests, low-temperature tests, high-temperature tests, burst tests and fire-safe tests, can be performed in our laboratory. Valves, fittings, flanges and gaskets can be tested to international standards and custom customer procedures, from −196°C up to 800°C. The measured data can be captured and logged by a digital recording system, so reporting the tests is fairly straightforward. Test data and video images can be streamed live so that any stakeholder can follow the entire test procedure from anywhere in the world.
